Meet Our Veterinarians
We have an elite group of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to assist you with all your animal care needs. Our incredible staff is made up of animal lovers who go above and beyond to make sure your pet has the highest standard of care.
Dr Alyssa:
Dr. Alyssa Gohr earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2015 and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, where she trained in mixed animal medicine. She joined the Bond Between in 2023, initially volunteering with their Tribal Partnerships, and now focuses on client medicine. She has a special interest in urgent and primary care, as well as hospice medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Gohr shares her home with Arnold, her 8-year-old hound mix, and Oliver, a 15-year-old grey domestic shorthair. She also helped raise service dog Kodak, a yellow lab, for Helping Paws from 2021 to 2023, and currently serves on their board of directors. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, biking, acrylic painting, snowboarding, classic cross-country skiing, and rock climbing.
Dr Robyn:
Dr. Robyn Schmidt earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Duluth in 1996. From 1993-2006 she was an archaeologist/paleontologist during the summer months and ran sled dogs during the winter months. She achieved her prerequisite veterinary classes from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2006 and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, where she trained in small animal/exotic medicine.
After veterinary school, Dr. Robyn began her veterinary career with small animal/exotic medicine in Alaska. In 2019, she moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family. Outside of work, Dr. Robyn continues to follow sled dog racing and she is the kennel veterinarian for Lost Key Kennels in Two Harbors, MN. Dr. Robyn’s hobbies include hiking, wildlife photography, traveling, reading and watching movies. She also enjoys having adventures with close friends.
